INTP

Vincent sends me to yet another personality test. I came out "INTP", which is the architect. That sounds fairly right. Another description is here.
Just to tell you "If you think I'm arrogant, so be it, it's my nature. At least it's not vanity."

April 21st, 2008 at 10:17 PM Hi Tom- I'm an INTP or (maybe INXP) too. It's great we don't have to be concerned with the sensory content of the real world. We tend to be insightful, creative, big-picture, disorganized, undecided, procrastinating, playful, forgetful, ultra-intuitive (who needs data to back stuff up?), laser-focused and oblivious to anything but what we are currently focused on. We make great architects, experts, software developers, psychologists (Jung), R&Ders, creatives (as long as we don't have to spend too much time on practical details), thinkers. There aren't that many of us - 1% of the population. It helps to have some practical types around to do the stuff we don't want to spend time on. For me, it's really import to get my gifts out into the world - I try to be practical and focused enough to pull that off. I got really fascinated by the Myers-Briggs types a couple years ago. They are fun and not like astrology - you get to figure out which one you are - it's not dependent on the stars. I found you on the TypePad webring. Hello! - JT
